Between my wife and I, we own both. The vibration on the HD is noticeably more than the Savage. It shows up most in the footpegs, not the bars. Wear rubber-soled footwear. For the first 3 gears, the Savage is as fast or faster. When the Savage runs out of breath, the twin HD comes into its own. If you are trying to compare the "grin factor", the Savage wins hands down.
